Chocolate Cookie Bark

Welcome back to Someone’s In The Kitchen! It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner and while I love baking all year long; there’s something about baking at Christmastime that’s even more fun. My family and I admittedly spend way too much time in the kitchen during the holidays. But sometimes the stress of the holiday rush leaves very little time to get in the kitchen and bake your Christmas heart out, so today we have a delish no bake treat that’s perfect for busy days or quick & easy gifts!

Chocolate Cookie Bark –

This Chocolate Cookie Bark is one of my favorite treats to make at Christmas and I look forward to it every year. Plus it’s so easy & fun to whip up, and it takes very few ingredients. If you love chocolate, Oreos, and peanut butter (and who doesn’t?) then you’ll love this bark! You start by mixing crushed Oreos into melted semi-sweet chocolate, then stirring together peanut butter and melted white chocolate and adding in more crushed Oreos, and then the fun part; you swirl both mixtures together on waxed paper! After you let it set up in the fridge for a little while you break it up into pieces and viola, you have Chocolate Cookie Bark! I love the way the peanut butter and white chocolate taste together; that flavor combo is so meant to be! This bark would make such a lovely gift, not only is it so delish but the swirls make it really pretty as well! I hope this no bake treat makes your holiday yummier and less stressful! Ingredients:
2 Tbsp.  creamy peanut butter
1 pkg.  (6 squares) Baker’s White Chocolate, melted
10 Oreos Cookies, coarsely crushed, divided
1 pkg.  (8 squares) Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Directions:
Add peanut butter to white chocolate; mix well. Stir half the crushed cookies into each bowl of melted chocolate.

Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate mixtures onto waxed paper-covered baking sheet, alternating colors of chocolates. Swirl with knife.

Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

  1. You’re right, baking at this time of the year is the best! This bark looks amazing. I’ve never heard of bark before (except on trees), but I really want some now 😀
